Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring 1.5 years of rehab experience and a NM or compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting (not a nursing home or LTAC)
- Rehab unit with patients averaging a 14-day length of stay
- Day shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Cerner charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred, and required for Charge Nurse role
- 1.5 years of inpatient rehab experience required within the last 2 years
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Cerner charting experience required
- One professional reference required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within an inpatient rehab hospital environment
- Scrub color requirement: black or dark blue with closed-toed shoes
- Free on-site parking available
- RTO must be submitted and approved at time of consideration; no RTO approved after being offered
- Employees cannot take every holiday off
- Any call-outs require more than 24 hours advance notice
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are booked at the local rate
