Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT MR/R certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech unit serving adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient populations
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, breast, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Special imaging procedures include CINE CSF flow study, non-brain diffusion, and perfusion
• Uses GE and Philips MRI equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift schedule, 2x12 hour shifts
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed

Requirements

• ARRT MR and ARRT R required, BLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI procedures
• Both Kansas and Missouri licenses or a compact license required at time of consideration, license required if applicable
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge preferred

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and contrast-enhanced studies across multiple anatomical regions
• First-time travelers accepted
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility for consideration
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted
• Returning staff must observe an 18-month tenure policy with a required 3-month break in service
