Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry Float RN requiring 2+ years of comparable acuity hospital experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.
Details
- Acute care float position, with unit assignments made by the nursing supervisor at time of staffing
- Floats across a wide range of units including medical, surgical, oncology, ortho, neuro, cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary floors
- Typical patient ratio of 1:6, though ratios vary according to need
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling not accommodated
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered TN or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting required
- Prior Cerner EMR charting experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across multiple floated units as assigned each shift
- Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Previous travelers with this facility are eligible to return
- Travel pairs are allowed
