Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week day shift contract requiring SC or compact RN license and prior ER experience.

- Emergency Department setting
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- On-call requirements apply: either 1 holiday shift with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or 2 holiday shifts with no on-call
- Block scheduling not accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license (SC or Compact) required; pending license accepted if obtained prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation
- Recent Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- All RTO must be submitted with initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
- Facility maintains an attendance policy; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
