Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Multimodality lab environment including Cath Lab, Vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro with 3 procedure labs
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 0630-1700, four 10-hour shifts with flexibility required
- Requires 7-10 days of call per month
- Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must have current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, including performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Prepare, implement, and document plans of care and communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures
- Perform and/or facilitate procedures and prepare necessary equipment and supplies
- Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, varying by facility location
- First-time travelers may be considered
