Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night-shift Emergency Room position requiring active MI licensure and 2 years of ER experience.
Details
- Emergency Center unit with 35 treatment rooms
- Uses MediTech EMR
- Night shift, 12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Required to work holidays
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
- Compact license not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of RN ER experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
Additional Information
- Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice, following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care and practice
- Clinical Nurse Specialists provide advanced nursing support to staff
- Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs offered through the nursing education department
- Ongoing staff development through formal and informal programs including BLS, ACLS, wound care, and pain management
- Navy blue scrub dress code
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate
