Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-ray Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and current ARRT registration for a Radiology department assignment.
Details
- Radiology department setting in an acute care hospital
- 32 hours per week on a deferred schedule with 4 shifts of 8 hours each
- Shift times may include 7-330, 730-4, 8-430, 12P-830P, 230-11P, or 3-1130P
- Day shift when scheduled Monday through Friday, second shift when scheduled Saturday or Sunday
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Uses PACS and HIS/RIS systems
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate's Degree or equivalent military training
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
- Current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain confidential information

- Must live within 50 miles of the facility or qualify as a local candidate at a discounted rate
