Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and prior Endoscopy experience.

Details

• Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• No weekend shifts required unless called in
• On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week after regular shift until 7:00 AM
• On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekend 24-hour call shifts (Saturday and Sunday) every 6 weeks
• Required response time of one hour when called in

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, active and in hand
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Endoscopy experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the Endoscopy department
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
