Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU/Med-Surg RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring an active ND or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.

Details

Acute care setting within a combined ICU/Med-Surg unit
Performs dressing changes, ventilator management, and IV starts
Uses EPIC for charting and Omnicell for medication administration
Also utilizes Space Labs monitoring equipment
12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation
Weekend rotation generally every third weekend
36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

Active ND or compact RN license required
BLS and ACLS certification required
1-3+ years of RN experience required, with 2 years preferred
EPIC EMR experience required
Social Security Number required for consideration
Proof of 2019 flu shot required for consideration

Additional Information

Completion of required training modules before starting the assignment
8 hours of non-billable orientation, during which guaranteed hours do not apply
Local candidates will be considered
Travelers with prior employment at this facility must disclose it for review
