Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department-Trauma position requiring current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit of a hospital setting
- 12-week assignment with day shift scheduled 07:00-19:30
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Documents required for consideration include skills checklist, 2 separate references, copies of certifications, license verification, driver's license copy, full SS# and DOB
Additional Information
- Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a fast-paced ED setting
- Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates depending on distance from facility
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under the facility's radius policy
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Discuss assignment extension with manager approximately 45 days before end date
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
