Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and knowledge of sterile surgical technique.

Details

• Invasive Cardiovascular Services department
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required, 1 day per week plus every 4th weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)
• Weekend work required only when on call
• Block scheduling accommodated (M-F plus call)
• No floating outside of scope required
• Uses Paragon charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Surgical Technology
• Must be registered/licensed as a Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Certified Surgical Technician; license required if applicable
• Radiologic Technologists hired for the EP Lab must obtain RCES within two years of hire
• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
• Working knowledge of sterile surgical technique required
• TN state license or compact license required
• Two references required, may be pending at submission

Additional Information

• Assist physicians as a scrub assistant, procedure circulator, and recording technician
• Engage in learning and assisting with invasive and non-invasive cardiac testing
• Develop working knowledge of all equipment and procedures used in cardiac patient care
• May perform other duties as assigned within the Invasive Cardiovascular Services Department or other areas as needed
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Travel pairs allowed
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
