Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience and an MD or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit with 63 rooms/beds
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 20:00-08:30
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within specialty to lower acuity units as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Navy scrub color required
