Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for an outpatient cardiac imaging setting requiring RDCS or CCI certification and 18 months of recent experience.
Details
- Outpatient Cardiac Imaging department
- Performs inpatient and outpatient TTEs, physical and pharmacological stress tests, TEEs, and echo-guided procedures (inpatient)
- Uses Philips Epiq CVx and Philips Epiq 7C equipment
- EPIC EMR experience required
- 8-hour day shifts, 5x8s, 40 hours per week with rotating weekends
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- RDCS or CCI certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of experience within the last 3 years
- EPIC EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Gray scrubs required as dress code
- Free parking provided
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted unless facility waives the rule for hard-to-fill positions
- Former Emory or Houston staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
- References are not required for consideration
