Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Telemetry Unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend required, with every third weekend considered
- Every other holiday coverage required
- Floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles may be required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide medical/surgical nursing care within a telemetry unit setting
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
- Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
