Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Details

• Telemetry Unit setting within a hospital
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours of 07:00-19:30
• Every other weekend required, with consideration for every third weekend
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current license and primary source verification, including Nursys, required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide medical/surgical nursing care within a telemetry-monitored unit
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered given preference for prior travel experience
• Discuss assignment extension with manager at least 45 days before end date if applicable
