Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position requiring telemetry background and 2+ years of med/surg experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Unit setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry background required with ability to read tele strips
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate
• Facility follows an auto-offer process for qualified candidates
