Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring at least 1 year of experience and current ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Central Resource Pool, covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Straight weekend day shifts, 12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized patient care
• Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Provides care across the continuum, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Responsible for care planning, patient assessment, patient education, and triage
• Navy blue scrubs required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates accepted with an 80-mile radius rule affecting pay eligibility
• Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
