Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in a Level 3 Trauma Center requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Details
- Emergency Department setting in a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every third weekend required, working either 36 or 48 hours
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Iowa or Compact)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- 1+ years of ER nursing experience required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Supervisory reference or performance evaluation completed within the last two years required
Additional Information
- Contribute professional clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN) may be restricted from travel assignments at other UPH markets within the past 12 months
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods in late November and December
