Description

American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with an active Illinois license and 2+ years of experience to provide dysphagia management and swallow studies in a hospital setting.

Details

Inpatient setting located within the main hospital
Performs video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
No weekend or on-call requirements
Uses Cerner EMR for documentation

Requirements

Active Illinois SLP license required, if applicable
2+ years of recent experience in the specialty required
2 years of relevant setting experience required
AHA certifications only, as required for the position
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years)

Additional Information

Provides comprehensive dysphagia management including bedside and instrumental swallow evaluations
May float within scope to similar units as needed
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
Requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration
