Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring weekend availability and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Weekend coverage required as a backfill position
- Floating required within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- AHA-issued BLS/ACLS certification required prior to start (non-AHA certifications accepted at submission)
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care on a busy medical telemetry unit
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this
- Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
