Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN Case Manager for a Neuro Step Down unit, requiring at least 1 year of acute care case management experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment on the 5th Floor Neuro Step Down unit
• 40-bed unit staffed with 1-2 case managers or social workers per shift
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:20-30
• Uses Meditech and Careport EMR systems
• Varied case management assignments requiring floating

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent acute care case management experience required
• Experience with Meditech and Careport preferred
• CCM certification preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Collaborative, self-starting, and solution-focused candidates are best suited for this role
