Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring 3+ years of current RRT experience and Massachusetts licensure.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department at a teaching hospital
• 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required, CRTs will not be considered
• Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active NBRC certification required
• Massachusetts RRT license required, license required if applicable
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Additional Information

• Facility will not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Permanent address must be included in profile at time of submission
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and will not be approved afterward
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Travelers may not take all holidays off
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
