Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1 year of LDRP experience and current Epic experience.
Details
- Birthing Center unit within a hospital setting
- Caring for patients across Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
- Schedule includes a minimum of every other weekend and adjustments to meet unit needs
- Floating required to Med Surg and ED units
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of the following 4: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
Requirements
- Active RN license, VT or compact license required
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of LDRP experience required
- Experience required in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation access in the area
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule with Monday start dates
- No block scheduling available for this position
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
