Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit position requiring med-surg background and rotating shifts.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit setting within a hospital
- Small 17-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio
- Patient population includes post-acute stroke (75%), cardiac, weakness/deconditioning, and acute rehab needs
- Rotating 7a/7p shift schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Floating within skillset required if census is low
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification
- Epic EMR experience required
- Med-surg nursing background required
- Comparable facility size experience required
Additional Information
- Provide rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, cardiac events, and deconditioning
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Radius rule may apply depending on specific facility location
