Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a hospital float pool position requiring strong telemetry skills and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Nursing Float Pool position, floating across multiple units
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
- 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), 36 hours per week
- 8-week assignment length
- Weekly orientations provided
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Strong telemetry experience required due to float pool utilization across units
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- Required vaccines: COVID vaccine plus booster and Flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Float pool role requiring flexibility across multiple nursing units
- Maximum of three days RTO allowed, with no holiday RTO approved
- All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
