Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Float Pool unit
- 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over an 8-week assignment
- Weekend and holiday shifts expected
- Floating required to like units and overflow areas
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
- Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding (one attempt only, 85% passing score)
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths preferred
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical exemptions allowed
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed; no holiday RTO approved
- All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission
- Returning employees to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must complete a 6-month break before returning
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- First-time travelers are not required to complete a separation period from BILH to apply for this opening
