Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift acute care position requiring at least 2 years of experience and comfort with both mother and baby care.

Details

• Acute care Family Birth Center with a 10-bed LDRP unit, Level II Nursery, and one Operating Suite
• Labor, postpartum, and newborn care provided in the same department
• Approximately 50-65 deliveries per month
• Uses MEDITECH EMR
• Night shift schedule of 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend may be required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience or comfort with both mother and baby care required
• Cross-training expected for Labor & Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and C-Section circulating

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery services
• Assist with circulating duties during C-Sections as needed
• OR green scrubs provided by the hospital with on-site changing lockers
• Emphasis on candidates with strong Labor & Delivery experience
