Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, offering both inpatient and outpatient coverage across two nearby facilities.

Details

• Critical access hospital with 23 total staff beds
• Combined acute care and outpatient clinic coverage, traveling between two hospital campuses approximately 23 miles apart
• Day shift schedule: 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:20am-5:50pm
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:5-10
• May float between units based on facility needs
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• Active WA state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Experience in both inpatient acute care and outpatient clinic settings required
• Familiarity with orthopedic conditions, neurological rehabilitation, and geriatric care preferred
• Experience with adaptive devices, gait training, and assistive equipment preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across acute and outpatient settings
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the region
• Scrub color: any color accepted for RN/Allied staff
• No parking fees at this facility
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; limited flexibility for changes after offer
• First-time travelers accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate; radius requirement of 50 miles applies
• Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
