Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Telemetry Progressive Care Unit position requiring an active MA RN license and pressor titration experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry Progressive Care Unit (A1 Cardiac Tele PCU)
• 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for night shift)
• Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks and may include ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to titrate pressors

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• BLS-AHA certification required; ACLS-AHA and NIHSS preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required for candidates without prior travel experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to titrate pressors required

Additional Information

• Day one pass/fail testing administered, including Tele/ECG and Medication testing
• Relias practice tests available for preparation
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, with no local candidates accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• First-time travelers will be considered, though Level 1 trauma experience is required in this case
• Weekly assignment start dates fall on Mondays
