Description

American Traveler is seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience and Epic charting proficiency for a Monday-Friday day shift assignment.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the PT Acute Care Hospital unit
• Monday-Friday schedule with day shift hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Candidates will float within scope of practice as needed
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Valid VA state license or compact state license required at time of submittal (temporary VA license accepted if candidate holds a valid license in another state)
• License required if applicable
• BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references required

• Facility follows a natural nail policy
• Facility is a drug, tobacco, and smoke-free workplace with no smoking allowed on campus
• Facility will review candidate background checks as part of the hiring process
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
• Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from VCU Health for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Time off requests must be submitted at time of application and are subject to unit manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of assignment
• Orientation includes required non-billable training modules averaging 6 hours, to be completed by the Friday of orientation week
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
