Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Coronary position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required, not expiring prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Certifications must be valid and unexpired at time of start
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in coordination with the care team
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and treatment plan monitoring
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote facility mission, vision, and values through professional service standards
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted with application
