Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of independent experience and proficiency across multiple radiographic modalities.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with an average of 3 days of call per month
- No guarantee of hours or requested time off
- Holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT certification and BLS certification
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency operating DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Must function independently without supervision and have working knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred
Additional Information
- Must be assigned and wear a dosimetry badge
- Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of offer and obtain it by the start of the assignment
- Travelers must arrive on island the Thursday before the Monday start date to attend an Employee Health clearance appointment on Friday
- No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
