Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and a CA RN license.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit within the Birthplace
- Care for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- Primary source verification of license and/or certification required within 30 days of start
Additional Information
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Direct and guide patient and family education as well as other nursing personnel
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
- Utilize chain of command as needed to ensure patient well-being and appropriate care
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
