Description

American Traveler is hiring an Oncology Clinic RN with outpatient BMT/Hematology experience for a day-shift position requiring a CA RN license and BSN.

Details

• Outpatient Oncology Clinic setting within a teaching hospital medical center
• Focuses on BMT and outpatient Hematology/BMT patient care
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ability to float to other facilities within the health system as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Outpatient oncology experience required
• Outpatient Hematology/BMT clinic experience required
• BMT experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within an outpatient oncology and BMT clinic setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel positions
• Floating may occur to other departments, units, or facilities within a 75-plus mile radius if qualifications are met
• Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed with full employment history for rehire eligibility review
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager prior to start
• No time off requests accepted within the first two weeks of the assignment
• No additional time off requests accepted mid-contract
