Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with at least 5 years of recent L&D, postpartum, and newborn experience and AWHONN Advanced FHM certification.
Details
- Work in L&D, postpartum rooms, and BFHI baby-with-mom rooms
- Unit averages 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month
- May occasionally serve as charge nurse after completing charge nurse training
- 12-hour day shift schedule
- Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- May float to other qualified departments, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
- Uses RPMS EMR system
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care required
- Additional experience may be required in some cases
- Current certifications required: AHA ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM
- RNC-EFM certification may substitute for AWHONN Advanced FHM
