Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring OH or compact license and prior Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

• MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Utilizes cardiac monitoring for emergency response and dysrhythmia interpretation/management

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias for Med/Surg Tele patients
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to consideration and cannot be changed after an offer is presented
• No background check hits of any kind or open cases accepted; no license hits accepted
• Candidates without prior travel experience may be considered
