Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab position requiring an active MI license and 2 years of acute rehab experience.
Details
- Inpatient Acute Rehab unit within a hospital setting
- Provides rehabilitation care for acutely ill patients across the life span with unstable medical conditions
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact license not accepted
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years acute rehab experience required
Additional Information
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Utilizes clinical judgment to assess, monitor, and manage patient conditions and prevent complications
- Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager
- Uses SBAR and interdisciplinary communication for effective collaboration
- Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 absences or late arrivals over 20 minutes
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Candidates residing within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted travel rates
