Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2+ years of IR and stress test experience and an active MI RN license.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 202-bed regional hospital
- Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Weekend on-call rotation required, 2 weekends per month, 7:00 AM-1:00 PM
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration, compact license not accepted
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of Interventional Radiology and stress test experience required
- Strong IV experience required
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
- Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required
Additional Information
- Continuously evaluate patient needs and plan of care, adjusting nursing actions to optimize outcomes
- Hospital-provided scrubs required
- Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 absences or late arrivals of over 20 minutes before termination
- Travel experience preferred but first-time travelers may be considered
- Candidates living within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate
- Former full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
