Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Floating required, including to MS/Tele units
• Cerner charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIH certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy/phlebotomy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring preferred
• Experience with total joint replacement and renal failure care preferred
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including ambulating and reaching

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code team activations as needed
• Work in a healthcare facility operating 24/7/365, with potential inclement weather shifts
• 50% holiday coverage required per contract terms
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, with none permitted during the first week due to orientation
