Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT (R) certification for a hospital imaging department.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient MRI setting
• Approximately 20 visits per day across 1 room
• Night shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic) imaging
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment along with PACS
• Performs special imaging procedures including diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• NY state license required upon start (license required if applicable)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Previous employees may be considered for rehire after a 6-month system-wide break in service
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for this position
