Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring TN or compact RN license and Med/Surg/Tele experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical Oncology unit
- 1:7 patient ratios
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30-7:00) on a 36/36 schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No call responsibilities
- Floating to other units as needed
- Travelers do not administer chemotherapy
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Med/Surg/Tele experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBL modules
- Contract nursing staff are expected to support nursing student clinical education alongside patient care duties
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
