Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 2 Trauma Center requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and 1 year of travel experience.
Details
- Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department with 54 beds
- High-acuity patient population averaging 220 patients per day in a fast-paced setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Uses Epic EMR
- Weekend scheduling flexible with up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
- Night shift staff may be assigned up to 3 Sundays per scheduling period
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD-specific or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS (pending certification acceptable for substitution)
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2-step PPD test and flu vaccine required with no exemptions

- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume, high-acuity trauma center environment
- Local candidates will not be accepted for this position
