Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) and (R) certification and at least 1 year of specialty experience for an outpatient hospital-based setting.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
- No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
Requirements
- ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in mammography specialty
- Proficiency in 3-D and digital mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms
- Experience with fine needle aspiration preferred
- Experience with needle localizations and stereotactic biopsy preferred
- Familiarity with Hologic 3D equipment preferred
- Knowledge of digital quality assurance procedures and radiation safety
- References required for consideration
- MT RT license required prior to starting, if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital imaging
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility, and local candidates will not be accepted
- Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning
- Background check history with license hits reviewed on a case-by-case basis
