Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift role at a critical access hospital requiring prior critical access experience and combined OB/MedSurg coverage.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting combining Labor and Delivery with MedSurg duties (approximately 75% MedSurg given low delivery volume of 1-2 babies per week)
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 6:00
• OB patient ratio of 1:1
• MedSurg patient ratio of 1:3, with potential 1:4 during cold/flu season
• Uses CPSI/Perigen charting system
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed

Requirements

• Active KS or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty required
• Prior critical access hospital experience required
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across both Labor and Delivery and MedSurg units
