Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN with critical care experience and VT or compact RN licensure required.
Details
- ICU/PCU setting caring primarily for step-down level patients
- Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Cares for vented patients with RT support
- Manages cardiac drips, insulin drips, and DKA protocols
- Responds to Rapid Response and Code Blue events
Requirements
- Active VT RN license or multistate compact license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 3-4 years of critical care experience preferred
Additional Information
- Assists newer staff with interpreting telemetry rhythm strips
- Local candidates accepted
