Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR/EP Technologist requiring prior Cath Lab, IR, and EP experience along with a WA state Rad Tech license.

Details

• Work within the Interventional Labs, covering Cath Lab, IR, and EP procedures
• 4x10 hour AM shifts, 40 hours per week, 0630-1700
• On call required

Requirements

• Must have prior Cath Lab, IR, and EP experience
• WA state Rad Tech License required if applicable
• Must be a graduate of an approved program in radiological technology or cardiovascular technology
• One of the following certifications required: ARRT, RCIS, CI, HRE, or RCES
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Additional Information

• Use fluoroscopy equipment, Epic EMR, and MERGE hemodynamic system
• Assess patient condition and orient patients to the lab environment and procedures
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease process for proper positioning and imaging
• Maintain fluoroscopy equipment, contrast injector, and other lab equipment
• Perform clerical duties including exam verification and documentation using Epic and PACS
• Charge all medical/surgical supplies used during procedures
• Set up equipment, prep and scrub procedures using sterile technique, and record hemodynamic readings per standards
• Maintain facility standards, protocols, and procedures while keeping skills current
