Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 5 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the ICU (T5 unit) of a 410-bed community hospital
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week with 24 hours guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Med Surg/Tele units when needed

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required (compact license not accepted)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have own vehicle
• Negative 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Current Nursys license verification required
• Signed supervisory reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services within the ICU setting
• Must complete Welle or CPI verbal de-escalation training as part of onboarding
• COVID vaccination encouraged but not required
• Personal scrubs of any solid color permitted; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and RTO must be submitted upfront with no changes after upload
• Candidates residing in specific NY counties or within 50 miles of the facility may be considered for a reduced travel rate
• Scheduling accommodations cannot be granted for this position
