Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring comfort covering PCU, Med/Surg, and ER hold assignments on night shift.
Details
- Resource/float pool position within a hospital setting
- Floats to Medical, Oncology, and Surgical units, as well as Progressive Care and ER holds
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- Orientation held on a biweekly basis
- Schedule requests approved at manager's discretion
Requirements
- Active RN license (VT or Compact) required, with VT license to be applied for upon acceptance
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Dysrhythmia testing required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Comfortable floating to PCU, Med/Surg, and ER hold units
- Own vehicle recommended due to limited public transportation access
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry nursing care across multiple hospital units as a true float RN
- Work history documentation should include health system name, campus, bed count, EMR technology, facility type or trauma level, and ratios as applicable
- Employment gaps over 30 days must be explained or accounted for
- Local candidates are accepted
- Manager has final approval on offers
