Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of specialty experience in echocardiography to join a cardiology diagnostic team.
Details
- Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer role in the Diagnostic Cardiology department
- 4x10 hour day shifts, schedule varies between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- RVT certification required
- Appropriate echocardiography credential required, such as RDCS (ARDMS), RCS or RCCS (CCI), CRCS (Sonography Canada), or ACS (CCI)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
