Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center's comprehensive stroke center, requiring prior IR experience and ARRT Cardiac Interventional certification.

Details

• Acute care Level 1 trauma center setting within the Interventional Radiology department
• Four procedure rooms, including a dedicated neuro IR room
• Comprehensive stroke center performing all IR procedures including neuro IR
• Uses Siemens and Phillips equipment with EPIC EMR/PACS system
• Radiologists in-house during the day and on-call nights and weekends
• IR only, no floating to other departments
• Four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On call approximately 8 shifts including 1 weekend within a 6-week period
• Call response time of 30 minutes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years IR experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (CI) required
• VI or CV specialty certifications a plus
• Neuro IR experience preferred
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience

Additional Information

• Perform all IR procedures including neuro IR cases as part of a comprehensive stroke center
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Department-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts or as needed
• Facility orientation includes 12 hours, with clinicians expected in-state for orientation week even if initial modules are remote
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates hired into this position are subject to a float radius policy and are expected to float within the hiring zone
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
